OUR SENIOR PROGRAMS

In 2017, a group of friends sat around a table at a pizza shop West of Melbourne, with a vision of creating a club where people could play regardless of their skill, ethnicity of financial background with 14 initial players. In 2024, the club had 3 senior mens teams competing in Football Victoria’s Metropolitan Men’s leagues scoring goals aplenty!

2025 STATE LEAGUE 5

Footscray has an incredible footballing history, with 5 Dockerty Cup winning squads hailing from our wonderful suburb. The last Football Victoria associated squad located in Footscray was the fabled Footscray J.U.S.T who played their last game at Schindler Reserve, in 1989.

This spiritual calling to bring incredible football back to Footscray has begun in earnest, as the club embarks on it's application for a State League 5 North-West squad for the first time since our clubs inception. The club is now seeking triallists for our State League 5 program beginning in November, to bring about the attacking flair that Footscray has been known for, to the State League 5 North West Competition.

We have a habit of winning!

Our 2023 Senior Men's squads achieved the ultimate glory of winning both the North Western Division 8 League, and the overall Division 8 Championship game at Knox Football Center v Melbourne University Bohemians!

We are a team that cherishes fast, attacking football, with an eye for goal!

Strength in partnerships

We are members of the Western United 'The United Football Program'

As part of our relationship with Western United, we regularly receive tickets to Western United Liberty A-League Womens and Isuzu Ute A-League Mens games.

We also have members of the Western United Football Clubs coaching, administrative and playing groups attend club events to work together on strengthening football opportunities in the West.

As part of the We Are West Club Rewards Program, for any person that registers as a member of Western United, our club receives rewards. We encourage all of our Footscray family to support Western United, as the home of A League Football in the West, you get to see great football and our club benefits from rewards and access to club initiatives!

Victoria University students benefit from our community partnership with Victoria University as their Football Club of choice for mens players, with a 30% discount which is well below our typical membership fee for senior football.
